Betsy von Atzigen

Sankt Gallen-based writer, educator, and corporate HR specialist. Tickled pink in Austro-Hungarian, Spanish-American, Chinese-Filipino blend of ancestries, she weds and melds into a Swiss family antiquated as Switzerland. Career and marriage propelled her wings to the far east, Australia, the US and Europe, while rooted in Negros, Philippine sugar capital. Betsy is the first elected woman chair of a Europe-wide Euro-Filipino civic community, awarded outstanding Filipina by a US-based women’s network, twice elected president of ASEAN Women in the sub-continent, and President of the Legion of Mary in Switzerland and Lichtenstein.
